CALL FOR PAPERS BETT UK 2027

Bett UK brings together educators, school and trust leaders, digital specialists, policymakers and industry innovators to explore what’s next in education and technology. We are now inviting proposals for sessions, workshops, panels and practical demonstrations for Bett UK 2027.

We are looking for high-impact, practitioner-led content that helps attendees solve real challenges, make informed decisions and leave with ideas they can apply immediately in their settings.

This Call for Papers is for editorial content proposals only.

If you are a commercial organisation wishing to:

  • Pitch a product
  • Request a speaking slot for promotional purposes
  • Enquire about sponsorship or exhibiting

Submissions that are primarily promotional will not be considered.

Who Should Submit

We welcome proposals from:

 Teachers and classroom practitioners
 School, trust and MAT leaders
 FE and HE leaders
 SEND, inclusion and wellbeing specialists
 Policymakers and system leaders
 Researchers with practical, applied insights
 Industry experts where content is evidence-based and non-promotional

What We’re Looking For

We are particularly interested in sessions that are:

  • Practical and actionable - tools, frameworks or case studies attendees can use immediately
  • Evidence-informed - grounded in experience, data or measured impact
  • Strategic - addressing whole-school or system-level challenges
  • Audience-first - designed for educators, not sales pitches

Topics we’d love to see more of:

Alongside AI, we are keen to encourage greater variety, including:

  • Creating or embedding a digital strategy
  • Improving assessment and feedback
  • Sustainability in education and EdTech
  • Inclusion, SEND and accessibility
  • Workload reduction and operational efficiency
  • Student wellbeing and engagement
  • Leadership, governance and change management

  • 30-minute sessions
  • 45-minute workshops
  • Panels / fireside chats
  • Interactive clinics or Tech User Labs
  • Leadership roundtables
  • Student voice panels

    Clear learning outcomes for attendees.
  • Target audience
    (e.g. classroom teachers, school leaders, SEND practitioners, FE/HE leaders, IT or digital leads, governors, policymakers)

Review Process & Next Steps

All submissions are reviewed by the Bett Content Team and Advisory Board.

If your proposal is shortlisted, a member of the team will be in touch to discuss next steps, including format, scheduling and speaker preparation.
