Where Community Powers Growth: VenturEd Solutions at Bett UK
When Rebecca Fowkes, Senior Director - Growth & Marketing at VenturEd Solutions, talks about Bett UK, she starts with people rather than metrics.
For her, Bett UK is the one moment each year when schools reliably make time to connect with the wider community. “Schools find it really hard to get out during the day or attend many events. But someone from the school will always come to Bett,” Rebecca said.
For a company supporting more than 18,000 schools, this consistency makes Bett UK the most effective place to meet both new and existing customers. In three days, VenturEd Solutions can achieve what would normally take months of outreach.

Connection matters most
Staying closely connected to the education community is central to how VenturEd Solutions approaches Bett UK. Commercial growth matters, and leads are always welcome, but as Rebecca explained, education simply does not operate like a transactional marketplace. Schools buy from suppliers they trust, suppliers they believe will stay the course.
Bett UK provides the space to demonstrate this reliability in person. Meeting educators, listening to their challenges and understanding how their needs are shifting helps build the kind of relationships that support long-term decision making. This value extends well beyond lead numbers and keeps VenturEd Solutions aligned with the schools and partners driving change in the sector.
What stands out for VenturEd Solutions is the intensity of insight Bett UK offers. In a short period, the team can gather feedback, test ideas, solve issues and understand what schools are prioritising next. As Rebecca described, Bett UK is “the single biggest event to be able to reach UK state schools in Europe.” These conversations offer a level of immediacy that no survey or formal research can match.
This connection-focused mindset also shapes how VenturEd Solutions invests in its presence across the show. Over the years, they have delivered theatre sessions, sponsored the SEND Theatre and taken part in networking activities that reflect their belief in a collaborative, community-led sector.
“The branding opportunities that are out there are brilliant,” Rebecca said. They allow VenturEd Solutions to showcase their expertise to the right audience and strengthen visibility across the sector.
For Bett UK 2026, they are expanding this presence with a session in the Operational Transformation Theatre. Besides, they will also serve as the official Wi-Fi Sponsor, a sponsorship that came directly from Rebecca’s own proposal. After sharing a creative idea with the Bett UK team, the concept developed through collaboration and became a reality. It was a moment that reinforced for Rebecca how open the Bett UK team is to building new ideas together.
These choices reinforce their commitment to the community and their role within the wider EdTech landscape. As she summarised, “If we were only focused on leads, then we’d just put everything singly into the stand.”
She emphasised that education is built on long-term relationships and that Bett UK remains an important investment in staying connected to the community and the wider EdTech ecosystem.

Collaboration at the centre
Bett UK is also where partnerships emerge naturally. VenturEd Solutions’ technology integrates with a wide range of EdTech tools, making collaboration essential to their growth. Some of their strongest partnerships did not come from planned meetings, but from spontaneous conversations at the show. “We have had fantastic conversations at Bett UK that later became long-term commercial relationships,” Rebecca said.
These interactions often happen beyond the stand, during theatre sessions, in aisles or at networking events, and reflect the collaborative spirit that defines Bett UK. As VenturEd Solutions prepares to expand its ecosystem through the new Eduspot Partner Programme, this environment of shared innovation becomes even more important.
Looking towards Bett UK 2026: A year of momentum
This year, VenturEd Solutions brings Eduspot to Bett UK, marking a significant milestone for the company.
Schools repeatedly told the team the same challenge: “schools are using lots of different systems that do not talk to each other.” Eduspot was created to solve this.
The platform brings communication into one place, making processes clearer for staff, simpler for families and better value for schools.
Eduspot centralises messages, integrates with other suppliers’ systems and supports translation into more than 120 languages, including Welsh. It is built with accessibility from the start and adapts to the needs of each school, strengthening the connection between schools and families.
With the launch of the Eduspot Partner Programme, VenturEd Solutions is opening the platform to suppliers across the sector, creating a more connected and collaborative EdTech ecosystem.
