Technology now enables the curriculum to be accessible to pupils of all ages and abilities, but knowing what applications and software to use can often be a bit of a minefield with so much content now available. In this session Martin Bailey (Digital Enrichment Leader at Lanchester EP Primary School ' Co.Durham, Director of Animate 2 Educate and Lecturer in Primary Computing at Durham University) showcases a wide-range of open-ended and creative apps and software which can easily be introduced and implemented in any setting. From providing support and access to SEND and EAL pupils, to bringing the curriculum to life through the use of fabulous animation and movie making software, this session really is jam-packed with essential content for any teacher's digital toolkit. Delegates will learn how to make the most of camera and video/audio recording facilities which devices now easily provide and how you can add value to your video and produce fantastic photography which will act as a stimulus to lessons. Pupils themselves can also make great use of the ideas and resources which will be shared enabling them to demonstrate their knowledge understanding and creativity in a wide-range of interactive ways. Almost all of the content showcased is completely free of charge and can be accessed across a wide range of platforms and devices. All attendees will be provided with a software/app list from the session, so that they can make full-use of all of the amazing content covered.
