In 2023, the Odin School will open a new robot laboratory in close collaboration with some of the largest Co-bot developers in the world. This presentation will review the practical, what/how/why questions that arise when a school, a municipality or a company wants to enter into a strong partnership. One of the main goals of STEAM education, is to prepare kids for the future. And a future work life, that for many, involves technologies not yet invented. To bridge this gab, we must collaborate with companies on the forefront of innovation. At the beginning of 2023, the Odin School in Odense opens the doors to the new robot laboratory, a makerspace, and a STEAM laboratory. The establishment would not have succeeded without fantastic partnerships with large local companies that want to make a difference. We have entered into a number of long-term partnerships with companies such as Universal Robotics, MiR and OnRobot. This presentation will focus on the specific teaching activities that have resulted from the partnerships to date.
