With an ever-increasing workload educators are feeling the pressure. Staff wellbeing is under threat as teachers and staff support the learning and emotional recovery of the young people in their care. The recent Teacher Wellbeing Index undertaken by The Education Support Partnership highlights that 52% of educators feel that their mental health has been negatively impacted throughout the pandemic This session has been designed with educators in mind to help them reflect on their work, learn how to manage stress and anxiety, prioritise self-care in order to become more resilient. There will be a focus on developing a healthy culture where staff thrive, not just survive, with an emphasis on understanding the risk factors associated with teacher burnout and ideas to embed protective strategies to enhance people's wellbeing within schools.
