The Institute of Imagination is a dynamic charity and social enterprise based in London working nationally and internationally with partners such as LEGO, Micro:bit and British Council. We design and deliver award-winning creative learning experiences across the arts, sciences and digital technologies. We believe in the power of Imagination and creativity with imagination being our human superpower. With creative thinking being introduced into this year's OECD PISA assessment, this talk looks at how we can be more creative in the classroom, providing case studies of schools where this has been transformative for their students and the skills and competencies that it achieves. This talk will also examine the real world challenges that we face and how our new theme of Save Make Reinvent allows for interaction and experimentation in the classroom to allow children to imagine solutions for immediate challenges. We develop cross learning, delivering engaging blended learning through our virtual broadcasts and creative partnerships with schools that deliver impact.
