According to Stanford University's 2021 AI Index, more than $40 billion was invested in all AI startups in 2020. Researchers at the Digital Promise-led Center for Integrative Research in Computing and Learning Sciences (CIRCLS) believe that over the next five to 10 years, AI in the education space will see a significant growth. With this explosion of new tools, this session will discuss the future of AI in education, examining its current use and how it's likely to develop in the future. It will also explore the importance of companies evidencing impact on learning and the ethical considerations of using AI in school. We'll also look at how institutions will need to navigate a careful path through a wealth of exciting new products.
