In this talk, Jan Larsen, Chief Product Officer at cloud-based adaptive-learning software provider Area9 Lyceum, will present a highly specialized, artificial intelligence adaptive model and its value to the learner with special emphasis on the importance of metacognitive knowledge ' what learners know about learning. This is both in terms of the invaluable data points that feed the adaptive learning algorithm and as a tool for the learner to develop metacognitive knowledge and for the educator when preparing for class interventions.
