Bett 2022 show information

When and where is Bett 2022 taking place?

Bett is back as an in-person event on 23-25 March 2022 at the ExCeL London. Click here to register. Attendance to the show is free on all days and not date specific. Please note that the show is not open on Saturday.

Who is allowed or recommended to attend?

Schools & school buyers, colleges, businesses, education department & government representatives, higher education professionals*.
*Higher Education: HE Leaders can also access our new sister event Ahead by Bett. Your Bett registration will then grant you access to both shows. Click here to learn more.

Is Bett free-to-attend?

Attendance to the show is free on all days and not date specific. Registration is now open. Click here to register.

What is the Hosted Leaders Programme and can I be part of it?

Our Hosted Leaders Programme matches school, university and government leaders with thoughtfully selected education solution providers to discover innovative new products and services, via 15-minute face-to-face meetings. Meetings will take place at designated times on 19-21 January 2022, alongside the Bett and Learnit events at the ExCeL London. You can enquire now to be part of the programme here.

When is the 2022 Bett Awards?

How do I get involved in Bett 2022?

How do I register the employees of my company, friends, pupils, teachers, students, etc.?

Everyone attending the show needs to be registered separately due to GDPR, so please ensure everyone registers themselves.
*Please note that children (under 18) have to be accompanied by an adult and can only register onsite.
*School groups pre-registration is strongly recommended to facilitate a seamless journey for your class arrival, avoiding queues at registration desks. Please enquire here to arrange.

How do I register a group (over 18)?

Due to GDPR, anyone over 18 years old attending the show needs to be registered separately, so please ensure everyone registers themselves. Please register with a business or institution email address unique to you. Visitors registering with the same email address as a colleague will be unable to access our services.

We recommend groups and delegations to arrive from ExCeL East Entrance E16 1FR - DLR stop Prince Regent and follow signs access to ExCeL. Groups can gather before entering the show at S5 Hall entrance.

How do I register a school group (under 18)?

Registering in advance for classes of students under 18 years-old is strongly recommended. This is to facilitate a seamless journey for your class arrival, avoiding queues at registration desks. Find out more information and enquire to join with your students here.

I made a mistake on my registration, how can I update my personal information?

Contact us and we will update your badge. Please do not register again.

When will I receive my badge?

We will be sending you your badge along with key information for your arrival two weeks before the event. Please ensure you register and print your badge before attending – this is crucial, as we have implemented a reduced-contact registration system so there will be very limited opportunity to do this onsite.

Can I register upon arrival?

We recommend you register to receive your e-badge and print this before arriving onsite. We will provide a badge holder and you can then scan it at the door. If you do not have your e-badge printed, just show the e-badge on your phone at the registration desk and they can print you a copy. Note there may be a queue and a delay in entry. 

What if I have forgotten my entry badge when I arrive at the show?

If you do not have your e-badge printed, just show the e-badge at the registration desk on your phone and they can help with this.

Where does my visitor entry badge allow me access to?

Your entry badge allows you access to the whole Bett show unless stated otherwise. For example, if your entry badges state ‘Press’ you will have additional access to the show Press Lounge.

What happens to my registration?

Your registration to Bett was automatically transferred to the new dates.

What happens to my hosted meetings (I am on the Hosted Leaders Programme)?

All meetings packages booked as part of the Hosted Leaders Programme were automatically transferred to the new dates. We will be in touch by 7th January to explain the next steps and to let you know more about the rescheduled event. 

What does that mean for my hotel rooms?

Please get in touch with your hotel provider directly or Event Express if booked via our travel agency to arrange cancellation of your room nights or transfer to the new show dates.

I have already booked my travel, are you going to compensate me for this?

Please get in touch with your airline or travel provider directly to arrange cancellation or your flights or transfer of your tickets to the new show dates. We are not able to compensate for travel costs.

Covid-19 measures - Safe & Secure

What is Safe & Secure?

Safe & Secure is an evolution of our already market-leading health and safety measures. Please also look out for our Safe & Secure stamp. Wherever you see this logo digitally or onsite it confirms that we have ensured the highest health and safety standards across the event. Check our Safe & Secure protocol here.

What measures are you taking to keep us safe onsite?

Your health, safety and comfort has been, and continues to be, our number one priority. In light of this, we have developed Safe & Secure standards. Please note that you or your staff should not attend the event if you are displaying any COVID-19 symptoms. Check out all our measures before, during and after the show here.

What is required to gain entry into Bett?

We require all attendees (visitor, exhibitor and contractor personnel) to pre-register in advance of arrival at the venue.

Your badge will be sent to you to print at home, ensuring a quicker and simpler arrival process.

You may be asked to demonstrate proof of COVID-19 status for entry to the event. This will need to be one of the following::

  • Proof of completion of a full course of vaccination 2 weeks prior to arrival.
  • Proof of a Negative Lateral Flow Test result, taken within 48hrs of arrival.
  • Proof of a Negative PCR Test result, taken within 48hrs of arrival.
  • Proof of natural immunity shown by a positive PCR test result for COVID-19, lasting for 180 days from the date of the positive test and following completion of the self-isolation period.
  • Please note, UK-based visitors can use their NHS Covid Pass, and international visitors, the equivalent from their country of origin.

Planning your journey

Do I need a visa to get to the UK?

If you're not sure if you need a visa to visit the UK, take a look at the UK Border Agency information page for help. If you require an invitation letter to assist with your visa application, please contact us here.

How can I arrange my flights to the event?

Find all the information about traveling on our Plan your visit page. You'll find a link to Skyscanner website which can help you to arrange your flights. Please check your government advice for guidance on travelling overseas before entering the country.

What is the closest airport?

The nearest airport to ExCeL-London is London City (LCY) Airport which is 5090 feet away. Other nearby airports include London Heathrow (LHR) (21 miles), London Gatwick (LGW) (25.8 miles), London Stansted (STN) (28.3 miles) and London Luton (LTN) (31.1 miles). 

Please check your government advice for guidance on travelling overseas before entering the country.

What is the closest underground / tube station?

The Jubilee Line and the DLR are the quickest routes to ExCeL London. Alight at Canning Town on the Jubilee Line and change onto a Beckton-bound DLR train for the quick two-stop journey to ExCeL: Custom House for ExCeL (for the west entrance) or Prince Regent for ExCeL (for the east entrance or the ICC London). Do you have special deals with any hotels?

How do I find my way around the show once I have arrived?

An intuitive floorplan will be available on the app to help you navigate around the show and pocket maps with floor plans will be available to collect at the entrance. There are also digital You Are Here boards at each entrance.
