Ziad Younes Shatat is an education expert with over 20 years of experience. He currently serves as the Director of the Continuous Improvement Department at the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), where he oversees the performance and progress of Sharjah’s private educational institutions. He leads a team of international improvement advisors, providing strategic support and educational development to enhance student outcomes.

Previously, Mr Shatat held various roles in teaching, training, and consulting, including leading school reviews and program accreditation. He designed and organized international study tours and professional development programs for students and school leaders in countries such as the UK, Australia, and Canada. These experiences have enriched his international expertise, enabling him to better serve the local learning community in the United Arab Emirates.
