CEO, CET - The Centre for Educational Technology
Yossi Baidatz has been the CEO of The Centre for Educational Technology (CET) since August 2018. Yossi retired from the IDF, after 35 years of service. The last position he held as a member of the IDF General Staff, was Commander of the Israel National Defense College and Military Academies. Previously he has served as the head of the Israel Directorate of Military Intelligence (AMAN) Analysis Division. During his tenure, he became highly experienced and passionate about the value of education and the potential education has for shaping tomorrow's students, leaders and thinkers. The decision to join CET was therefore a natural step for him to make as he transitioned from military to civilian life bringing with him his respected experience leading complex processes and organizations. CET, a non-profit organization, has been working to promote education in Israel for more than four decades. With over 500 employees, CET is the leading player in harmonizing content, pedagogy and technology on a nationwide scale. CET wishes to position students and educators at the forefront of knowledge, skills and competence, in preparation for the challenges of the 21st century. CET is a home to passionate experts in the field who wish to share their wealth of knowledge and experience in order to push the education system in Israel and in the Diaspora forward.
