Dr Yevhen Kudriavets
Dr Yevhen Kudriavets is the First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, specialising in education diplomacy, strategy development, international partnerships, and European integration.
He has over 10 years of experience in managing international and governmental educational projects. He played a key role in building Ukraine’s education diplomacy ecosystem, coordinating a global network across more than 50 countries and 125 partner organisations. Dr Kudriavets represents Ukraine on the SDG 4 – Education 2030 High-Level Steering Committee (2026-2027 term).
Dr Kudriavets has been instrumental in developing Ukraine’s education strategies during the ongoing war, focusing on restoring access to education, advancing early childhood education, and implementing reforms to strengthen the country’s human capital. In addition, he leads the reform of extracurricular education in Ukraine and was among the creators of the fifth mathematics museum in the world, located in Kyiv.
His work ensures continuity of learning despite wartime challenges, while systematically aligning Ukraine’s education system with European standards.
