Wendy Pattison is the CFO and Business Director at a large Secondary Academy in Durham. She has an unbroken career of almost 33 years working in the public sector, firstly for Sunderland Local Authority for 18 years, then moving into a maintained school in Sunderland for 5 years and most recently 9 years at Framwellgate School Durham. Wendy also delivers training to Governors and Trustees on behalf of Governor support teams across the North East, most intensively in Stockon on Tees. Recently, Wendy was faced with managing a crisis when her school fell victim to a cyber incident and has since supported the North East Business & Cyber Resilience Centre (NEBRC) deliver key messages to stakeholders across the region in order to support the fight against cybercrime and hopefully help prevent and reduce further incidents through their proactive approach.
