Vicky Barker brings over 25 years of experience in secondary education and SEND provision, with a strong commitment to inclusive practice. As Head of Woodbridge SEND Service, she leads a team of specialist teachers and teaching assistants supporting children and young people aged 2 to 25 across mainstream settings in Bolton and beyond, ensuring that every learner can access the support they need to succeed. 

Vicky is a Trauma Informed Schools UK (TISUK) practitioner and is passionate about embedding trauma-informed approaches within education. Her work focuses on understanding how life experiences can impact learning and behaviour, and on creating safe, supportive environments where children and young people can thrive, build resilience, and feel a strong sense of belonging.
