Tom is the Global Head of International Relations at the British Esports Federation, the UK's national body for esports. He is recognised as one of the leading voices in the world on esports and education. He is also the Vice Chair of the Education, Culture, and Youth Commission of the Global Esports Federation. Tom led the establishment of the British Esports Student Champs, a national esports competition for schools which currently sees over 700 teams competing each week. He also led the development of the Pearson BTEC in Esports which has been studied by 9000+ students over the last 4 years. He also wrote the inaugural Microsoft Esports Teacher Academy and presented it to 2500 teachers across 115 different countries. He is also an experienced teacher and senior leader in education, having taught for 19 years across the full spectrum of state, independent and alternative provision schools. He supports traditional sports in addition to esports and has been involved in leading expeditions in schools as well as coaching cricket and golf.
