Principal, Ada, the National College for Digital skills
Tina studied Computer Science in South Africa where she worked as a developer before moving into Education. She moved to the UK in 2003 and taught ICT, Computer Science, Maths and Art in secondary school, as well as completing a Foundation Diploma in Textiles and Facilitating Digital courses to Industry professionals. In early 2016 she joined Ada's founding team to help establish the college and develop Ada's unique curriculum offer. In September 2016 she joined Ada fulltime as Head of Computer Science teaching the new BTEC in Computer Science to Ada's first ever cohort of Digital Pioneers. She now leads the Sixth Form as Principal, and in September 2022 enrolled the 7th cohort of Sixth Form students. In September 2023 Ada will move to its new permanent home in London Victoria. She is keen on the intersection of Technology and Creativity and enjoys sharing her enthusiasm with others.
