Actress, producer, and director, Teresa Pascarelli was born in Tokyo. She graduated from the National Academy of Dramatic Arts in Rome after living her first 19 years in Asia. She worked intensely for a decade as a stage actress with Italy’s major theatre companies to then create JB Productions, a production company specialised in edutainment projects (TV, theatre, workshops, e-learning) for the 3-10 age group, introducing English, spelling and environmental awareness. JB Productions licensed TV shows to Nickelodeon Italy, Dea Kids and Rai Kids. 

Teresa’s latest and most popular creation are the award-winning Fumbles (Rai Yoyo, Rai Play free VOD). Since 2019, JB has been experimenting in virtual reality and now produces animated footage in its own VR world. In 2025, JB kicked off interactive virtual reality events in Elementary schools, that allow kids to speak in real time with hilarious Fumble cartoon characters and learn from them.
