Tej is a headteacher with over a decade of experience across both the state and independent sectors, with specialisms in curriculum design and strategic leadership. A Teach First ambassador, he has led innovation projects throughout his career, guided by a strong belief in education as a driver of social mobility. Tej founded Tykeoons to tackle the UK’s persistently low levels of financial literacy and to give all children, especially the most disadvantaged, a head start with their money skills. Tykeoons is a curriculum-aligned digital platform that equips primary teachers with the programmes, resources and confidence to deliver world-class financial and economic education at the moment when it makes the greatest difference: before the age of 12.
