Tania Tirraoro is a writer, SEND policy expert, and founder/co-director of the influential advocacy website, SpecialNeedsJungle.com. She is the parent of two autistic/ADHD young adults and now has two neurodivergent grandsons, age 3 and 5.

Tania started Special Needs Jungle to help other parents get support for their disabled children. Special Needs Jungle’s volunteer team shares resources, research, and has charted developments in SEND since 2008. Its co-directors sit on multiple national/government SEND advisory groups. 

She also offers social media and web training built from her experience with Special Needs Jungle and a decade as a broadcast journalist and newsreader. Tania is herself autistic and lives with Ehlers Danlos syndrome.
