Sylvia Mwangi is a Partner at Boston Consulting Group and a leader in its Education, Employment and Welfare work in Africa, joining Bett’s “Innovating under pressure: Keeping learning alive” panel to share how education systems can sustain learning in fragile and low resource contexts.

Sylvia advises governments, multilaterals and investors, has led strategies on EdTech and youth employment, coauthored work on scaling EdTech in Africa, and previously ran large resilience, workforce and Higher Education programmes across the continent in senior roles at McKinsey and Dalberg. She holds a BCom from the University of Nairobi and is completing a Global Executive MBA at Imperial College London.
