Dr Arslan is a computer science teacher who completed his PhD in the Educational Leadership programme at Hacettepe University. His doctoral thesis focused on STEM policies in achieving the UN SDGs. In 2023, Dr Arslan was selected as the world winner in the Environmental Protection and Moral Leadership category in the JCI TOYP programme—one of the most prestigious international recognition platforms—by presenting a teaching model that integrates coding instruction and climate education through an interdisciplinary approach. He is the finalist of the Global Teacher Prize, winner of the UNESCO and ETF Green Skills Awards. As an Intel SFI Gold Ambassador and Certified Trainer, Dr Arslan focuses on developing girls’ coding skills and contributing to global goals through STEM-based and technology-driven educational approaches. Having received numerous international awards with his students, he continues to teach with great passion and dedication.
