Sam is a former teacher and EdTech leader with extensive experience building and scaling digital solutions to education challenges. At the Chartered College of Teaching, he leads the DfE-funded EdTech Evidence Board (EEB), a national initiative designed to help educators navigate the EdTech marketplace with confidence. The EEB assesses the quality of evidence underpinning EdTech products, supports developers to strengthen their evidence practices, and works to raise standards of evidence across the sector. Sam’s work sits at the intersection of classroom practice, research, and innovation, with a focus on ensuring EdTech delivers meaningful impact for teachers and learners.
