Rob Tarn CBE is a visionary education leader renowned for transforming underperforming schools and driving sustained improvement. He began teaching chemistry in 1998 and progressed through senior roles at Outwood Grange Academies Trust, becoming CEO of Northern Education Trust in 2017. At the Trust, he led a radical transformation, implementing the NORTHERN model of school improvement. In 2025, Rob became Chief Executive Officer of GEMS School Management in the UAE, supporting global school improvement across governments, investors, and school groups. He was awarded a CBE in 2022 for exceptional services to education and leadership.
