Rizma Butt graduated with a Master's Degree in Management Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the Smith School of Business, Queen's University where she also acquired a Certificate in Social Impact from the Centre for Social Impact. She holds a BSc (Hons) with Double Major in Economics and Finance, from the Lahore School of Economics, Pakistan. Her passion for human capacity development has been the driving force behind her participation in various community development activities, which led her to co-found 1 Million Teachers (1MT). Her current focus is on 1MT/1MT Cares as COO and successful Pakistani fashion brand 'Iznik' with prior experience from Shopistan (an e-commerce solutions corporation) as the Chief Online Brand Manager. She is also teacing at St.Lawrence College & Queen's University as a Adjunct Professor. Rizma has also worked with a small non-governmental organization (NGO), pushing change, and improving population outcomes that provided free education to underprivileged kids in Pakistan. Rizma also works at Smith School of Business as a Coach and loves helping individuals learn the power of their own minds to create change from within. As a social entrepreneur with experience in diverse industries, Rizma works on significant projects with partners like HP and Girl Rising, UNESCO and UNICEF to manage #cross-functional and #cross-continental teams and #stakeholders to identify #social #challenges, and to design and implement #creative #solutions to tackle such problems. Rizma is dedicated to designing and implementing #programs that tackle world problems such as #education challenges in Sub-Saharan #Africa and #Asia.
