Richard is a former Senior Lecturer in Cyber Security and pioneer in information assurance for small organisations. He was previously a teacher in both schools and colleges, and has been a Fellow of The British Computer Society since 2014.

Currently, Richard is Head of a Certification Body that offers Cyber Essentials certification for small and medium sized organisations.
