Cher Ping Lim is Chair Professor of Learning Technologies and Innovation at The Education University of Hong Kong and Advisory Editor of The Internet and Higher Education, where he served as Editor-in-Chief from 2015 to 2025. He is Co-Director of the Global Institute for Emerging Technologies.

Professor Lim held academic and leadership positions at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and Edith Cowan University in Australia before joining the EdUHK. His research and development partnerships with UNESCO, multilateral development agencies, industries and governments focus on leveraging digital learning for development, large-scale teacher professional development, blended learning in Higher Education, ICT competency frameworks, sustainable educational innovation, and marginalised groups.
