Peter has been CEO of the UK's leading child protection charity the NSPCC for over 10 years. The NSPCC works to prevent child abuse, protect children from harm and change attitudes, behaviours and laws to help every childhood be a positive one. He has been at the forefront of the campaign for online safety legislation. Peter was a Director at the Department for Education between 1998 and 2008 and also spent 5 years running the Big Lottery Fund.
