Senior Consultant for EdTech at Education Development Trust, Peter has over 30 years' experience in education, developing effective technology-enhanced teaching and learning (right across the curriculum including a Computing specialism) both in the UK and other contexts. He currently specialises in providing EdTech, digital literacy and skills support to programmes in UK and internationally. Previously Peter was the teaching and learning consultant at the UK's London CLC, part of EDT (a double BETT award winning Digital Learning Centre of Excellence), working across all levels of education from EYFS to post-16. This included authoring courses, materials, blogs and creative curriculum-focused resources for teachers, and delivering the multi-faceted CLC programmes in London and beyond. Combining this with recent hands-on experience in the classroom through workshops and projects for all ages, as well as delivering teacher CPD in many forms, has given Peter wide-ranging insights into extraordinary learning with and about technology. Within his role now, Peter is Consultant Manager at Camden CLC (Camden Learning). Peter engages with education stakeholders at all levels ' children, parents, school and community, local authority, right up to Ministry of Education - to design and implement effective strategies and programmes informed by his experience as a teacher and practitioner alongside extensive subject expertise. He is an accredited assessor/teacher expert and facilitator for several national/international schemes that focus on quality. He was lead co-ordinator for the multi-partner Erasmus+ blended learning project Co-Learn featured in this year's talk. He is also a member of the CLC team in the award winning Co-Make early years project, the Empower2Learn platforms and personalised learning project featured in previous Bett programmes where Peter has featured as a speaker in person and online for the last 5 years.
