Oonagh leads the team which produces BBC Bitesize’s curriculum content for secondary students. BBC Bitesize reaches over 75% of secondary students with free, curriculum-linked resources, which help with homework, revision, and improving GCSE grades.  

Oonagh began her career in journalism, has worked in schools, led innovation projects and has specialised in making digital education content for over 15 years. Her career highlights include a leadership role in BBC Bitesize’s online pandemic response. Her experience in game-based learning is as a commissioner of educational games and interactive experiences, including the TIGA award-winning History Detectives and Planet Planners. She is currently working with Roblox to launch BBC Bitesize’s first educational experience in Roblox.
