For 10 years, Nik was Head of Department at an Ofsted Outstanding College before leaving education to work in esports, only to return to teaching as esports course leader at Queen Mary's College, the country's leading provider for esports. Nik is the founder of 'ntesports,' a consultancy specialising in esports and education and retailer of esports teaching resources. As a Quality Development Writer for Pearson, Nik wrote a core module for the new BTEC Higher National qualifications in esports. Nik has also written an esports degree for the University of Surrey, and a customised accreditation suite of short courses for British education charity ASDAN. He was part of the team that created and launched the world's first online esports Level 3 course with AIM qualifications. Nik consults for numerous companies including Yoyotech and Guild College at Guild Esports with SCL. Nik sits as Chair of the Esports Trade Association Education Committee acting as the UK representative and is the Chief Education Adviser for Esports Scotland.
