Nic Ponsford
Nic Ponsford is an award-winning educator, DEI leader, and edtech innovator transforming inclusion in education. As Founder and CEO of the Global Equality Collective (GEC), she spearheads a global movement of over 13,000 changemakers and leads the GEC Circle, the largest DEI directory in education.
Nic created the GEC Platform, an award-winning tool that supports nearly 250,000 students worldwide by helping schools and organisations measure and improve inclusion and well-being.
Her groundbreaking work has earned her recognition as one of Europe’s Top 50 Women in Tech (#InspiringFiftyEurope), a finalist for the National Diversity Awards 2024, and Role Model of the Year by Computing magazine. With doctoral research focused on equity and edtech, Nic combines academic rigour with practical solutions. She is also Co-Head of Education at Microlink, championing accessible learning through assistive technologies. Driven by a passion for innovation and inclusion, Nic is shaping a brighter, more equitable future for learners globally.
