Ignacio Pena Ojosnegros is a full time teacher at La Salle Managua VET school in Palencia. He
has mastered English teaching for over 15 years now. He has taught at secondary school, K12 and VET levels. Nowadays he is Deputy headmaster at La Salle Managua, Erasmus+ Coordinator at La Salle Spain Erasmus Consortium and member of La Salle Spain VET Team. He has also collaborated with an Innovative Education Consultant at Madrid for more than 10 years and worked for more than 5 years for the Castilla y Leon External Action Service in Brussels within the frame of the European Commission as policy adviser focused on Erasmus+, the big flagship European educational program.

One of the main achievements of his career is the full development of Erasmus+ mobilities at different La Salle Spain VET centres allowing hundreds of students to move abroad for their internships at companies. Also he has performed as Coordinator of different Erasmus+ Projects focused on STEAM methodologies, SEND, inclusion and diversity and gender equality involving a wide variety of companies, schools, institutions and organizations from Europe and South America.

As of September 2025, he develops an intense work as member of the National La Salle Spain VET Team fostering new opportunities for all VET centres across Spain, looking for agreements and strategies with companies mainly in Spain but also overseas and working in a full methodology project designed, developed and implemented by La Salle Spain for all La Salle Centres in Spain.
