Milja Laakso is the Portfolio Specialist (EdTech Portfolio) of the Learning Innovation Hub, focusing on building a portfolio of scalable, edtech tools that have proven to deliver impact. As part of this effort she has been elemental  in building the EdTech4Good Framework and the Learning Cabinet, focused on curating safe, equitable, impactful and scalable EdTech tools. For the past 10 years, Milja has been driving innovations at UNICEF ranging from local country-level work to systems-level initiatives, including with the UNICEF Venture Fund and UNICEF Nicaragua. Milja holds a Master’s in Social Sciences from the University of Helsinki, including studies in the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
