Meredudd Jones is an Education Evangelist for Adobe, spreading the good word of digital creativity after 17 years teaching at a Welsh-medium secondary school in the Gwendraeth Valley, West Wales. During the pandemic, he helped teachers across Wales level up their digital skills and survive the remote learning rollercoaster!

Originally a music teacher, he was eventually booted over to ICT—apparently, wearing glasses is all it takes to qualify. After the pandemic, he realised teachers still needed support, so he set up a YouTube channel—Yr Ysgol Ddigidol—to continue sharing tips and tricks. He also branched out to help primary teachers, assist schools with digital strategy, and support the new DigiTech GCSE, on a mission to ensure no teacher or pupil is left behind in the digital age.
Now, with his partner-in-tech Dom, he delivers Adobe Express live lessons to schoolchildren across the UK and works with educators to help them feel more confident using creativity and digital technology in the classroom. He’s passionate about making tech simple, fun, and just a little less terrifying for educators everywhere.

Outside of work, he’s still rocking out—drumming with a few bands. It started as a hobby, but, let’s face it, it might just be his midlife crisis in full swing. At least it’s cheaper than a motorbike (and marginally cooler than golf). Whether it’s tech tips or drumsticks, he brings energy, creativity, and the occasional dad joke to everything he does.
