Director, Reach Children's Hub
Mei has over 15 years' experience working in education and is passionate about reducing educational inequalities in the UK. She trained as a secondary History teacher with Teach First and worked in several state schools in London before moving to Berlin to study a Master of Public Policy degree, with a focus on education and social policy. In 2014, she moved into the primary sector and was Headteacher of a primary academy in Guildford for two years before joining the Reach Foundation in January 2019. She is the Director of the Reach Children's Hub, which provides cradle-to-career support to children and families in Feltham. She also leads the Reach Foundation's collective impact initiative, the Feltham Convening Partnership, which aims to improve outcomes for children and young people through long-term systems change.
