Mark Allday is Director of Digital Strategy and Innovation for the Alban Academies Trust and Assistant Headteacher at Sandringham School. He has responsibilty for the trust's digital developments, one-to-one device programme and blended learning strategy. Sandringham School has embarked upon the use of technology since 2012, with a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) programme implemented within the school from 2014. Mark has been involved in delivering training and guiding strategy within schools for a number of years and has supported projects on a national and international scale. Mark is a passionate advocate for pedagogical approaches underpinning the use of technology within school settings, often emphasising that the technology alone is not the answer. Mark has previously worked with the DfE to support projects such as the EdTech Demonstrator Programme. Speaking at conferences and leading training opportunities, Mark has advised hundreds of school leaders globally on educational technology.
