Lynn How
Educational Consultant, SENCO and Author
United Kingdom
Lynn How is an educational consultant, SENCO, author and speaker specialising in SEND, inclusion and school leadership. She is the founder of Positive Young Minds and creator of The Sweary SENCO, where she champions practical, sustainable approaches to inclusion and speaks openly about the realities of working in education. Her publications include The School Leader’s Guide to SEND, Being a SENCo and The Feelings Furballs, alongside resources supporting teachers, SENCOs and school leaders. Drawing on her experience in schools, consultancy and her own perspective as a late-diagnosed education professional with ASD, Lynn advocates for workplaces where neurodivergent staff can thrive rather than simply cope. She is particularly interested in the relationship between staff wellbeing, disclosure, reasonable adjustments and inclusive leadership, and in how schools can move beyond good intentions to create cultures that genuinely support both staff and pupils with SEND.
