Lyndsey Stuttard
Lyndsey is an educator with over 20 years of experience teaching in the public and private sectors around the world, with a particular focus on Early Childhood education. She is passionate about the purposeful use of Augmented Reality in the classroom as well as the role creativity has to play in allowing students to access the learning and share their understanding. Lyndsey has helped two international schools achieve Apple Distinguished School status as well as rolling out two successful 1:1 iPad programmes. With her particular focus on Augmented Reality, Lyndsey has spent the last 4 years encouraging teachers and students to leverage the powerful creativity tools of iPad to design their own bespoke AR experiences relating to the content covered in the curriculum. Through her approaches, ACS International Cobham has seen a transformation in their use of technology, with teachers more confidently engaging in open ended ideas and creativity in the classrooms. Lyndsey is a published author with several books all about her work and ideas of incorporating AR into the classroom.
She is also the founder of the initiative “Create for a Cause” that united Apple Distinguished Educators from around the world together to write books about ways students could raise awareness of globally important causes through creativity. Lyndsey is a recognised Apple Distinguished Educator and an Apple Professional Learning Specialist. Lyndsey was awarded the Pearson National Teaching Awards Innovator of the Year silver win and Top 100 Women in Tech award, both in 2023, and is currently a Rising Star in Education award winner for 2024.
