Professor of psychology at Federal University of Pernambuco, Luciano Meira holds a Ph.D. in mathematics education from the University of California at Berkeley (USA, 1991) and a master's in cognitive psychology. He is also a fellow professorforthe Graduate Program in Design at Cesar School (Recife's Centerfor Advanced Studies and Systems). Luciano is co-founder and Chief of Science and Innovation of Joy Education, a company of Proz Educa''o (https://prozeducacao.com.br/) dedicated to the development and operation of digital learning platforms for vocational education. Luciano is Lemann Fellow since his appointment as a Visiting Scholarto the Lemann Centerfor Educational Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Brazil, and an associate to the civil society organisation 'All for Education'
