Kirsteen Steven
Kirsteen is a Primary-trained educator. She has worked in various roles over her 20 years in the classroom, namely Class Teacher, Teacher within a Specialist Provision (predominantly with autistic learners and those with communication difficulties), Support for Learning Teacher and then Principal Teacher of Specialist Provision.
During this time, she developed a passion for the use of available digital technology to support learners to achieve their potential. She was instrumental in her school developing their digital usage policies and in them becoming one of the first schools in her LA receiving Digital Schools status.
In leading and developing Professional Learning Programme at CALL Scotland her aim is to ensure that all training on assistive technologies remains high quality and relevant.
