Katy Turner is an experienced primary classroom teacher, having taught for over 10 years in city schools across Key Stage 1 and Upper Key Stage 2. She has led a number of projects in her teaching career, including working internationally with a partner school in Tanzania. Katy is currently year group leader as well as Maths School Improvement leader. Katy was one of the UK teachers who took part in the Co-Learn Erasmus project together with primary and secondary teachers from the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland and Denmark. The project investigated blended learning pedagogy in a post-Covid context. Katy's classroom action research within the project included developing a whole school approach to an asynchronous learning style in mathematics lessons, alongside developing solo taxonomy strategies to enable deeper learning outcomes in the classroom for all pupils.
