Kalam has co-authored several ground-breaking qualifications in esports in collaboration with Pearson, Leadership Skills Foundation and British Esports that have now been studied by over 13,000 students globally. Subsequently, Kalam has supported the development of esports facilities across the United Kingdom including the world leading, National Esports Performance Campus.

These revolutionary qualifications and facilities have re-energised student learning and unlocked numerous career pathways and opportunities, spanning STEM, sport, creative, business, and digital industries.

Kalam also holds the positions of Director at Strategic Esports Group, Governor at Barnsley College and Board Member at CIMSPA Skills Accountability Board and Sunderland Expo. His multifaceted expertise further extends to being a Trainer and Podcast Host at Pearson, where he shares valuable insights and knowledge with educators around the world.
