Juliette Norrmén-Smith
At UNICEF’s Global Learning Innovation Hub, Juliette Norrmén-Smith leads thought leadership and research on the impact of EdTech on educational equity and system sustainability. This includes leading global reports on digital education and multi-country research projects under the umbrella of the EdTech for Good initiative, aligning governments and partners around global standards for evaluating the quality, safety, and scalability of EdTech. She leads the UNICEF Secretariat for the UNESCO–UNICEF Gateways Initiative.
Previously at UNESCO, Juliette spearheaded the growth of numerous digital education partnerships, including the Digital Transformation Collaborative of the Global Education Coalition. Juliette began her career as an English teacher and special educator.
Juliette holds a Master’s degree in Comparative and International Education from the University of Oxford, where she specialised in digital inclusion.
