Jonathan La Barrie possesses a strong foundation in technology, mathematics, and science. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Computer Engineering with a specialization in Computer Engineering from the University of the West Indies. Following his academic pursuits, Mr. La Barrie transitioned to the field of education, where he excelled as a Mathematics educator. Driven by a commitment to professional growth and a shared desire to enhance the quality of education, Mr. La Barrie pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Education. This experience fostered valuable connections with like-minded professionals who shared a common goal: to improve the education system and support the professional development of their peers. As a result of these shared aspirations, Caribbean Visionary Educators (CVE) was founded. Mr. La Barrie currently serves as a Director of CVE, where he and his colleagues are dedicated to advancing the professional development of educators primarily within the Caribbean region.
