John Solomon leads Education at Google, and is the VP and GM of Chrome operating system (ChromeOS). His team is responsible for the strategy, development and global deployment of Google Classroom, Chromebooks, and Workspace for Education, as well as the ChromeOS strategy, from product development to go-to-market for Chromebooks. Before joining Google, John was the VP of Enterprise and Government at Apple. He currently serves on the board of Team4Tech, a leading Ed Tech not-for-profit impact accelerator. In his spare time, he advises start-ups on how to profitably scale their businesses. John earned his MBA in Business from the University of Washington, Michael G. Foster School of Business, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from University of Stellenbosch (South Africa).
