Joanna Gibbs
Joanna Gibbs is a qualified teacher with 20 years’ experience working with children with specific educational and behavioural needs including those with autism, ADHD/ADD, speech and language delay, focus and concentration difficulties, PDA, trauma, dyslexia, sensory processing disorder (SPD), memory difficulties and other Special Educational Needs and disabilities., both in the UK and internationally.
She founded SENsational Tutors in 2017; voted as the UK’s favourite tutoring agency (2023 and 2024). Fuelled by her own diagnosis, Joanna’s lifelong mission is twofold: firstly, to provide other teachers with an opportunity to feel valued, rewarded and able to make a real difference. Secondly, to help every single child and young adult with SEND fulfil their dreams. She believes it’s about breaking down barriers, redefining social norms, boosting confidence and self-esteem, and taking the time to develop trusting relationships with every child and young person so that they can unlock and fulfil their true potential.
