Jesper Hansen - University College London (UCL)

Jesper Hansen

Associate Professor (Teaching), University College London (UCL)
United Kingdom

Jesper Hansen has been at UCL since 2010, teaching language, literature and linguistics. He currently works at UCL HEDS/Arena as an Associate Professor, leading on assessment and module evaluation (known at UCL as ‘Continuous Module Dialogue’). He is one of the founding editors of Postgraduate Pedagogies Journal, which provides a space for GTAs and ECRs to publish on educational topics relating to GTAs (their experiences, identities, good practice, barriers they encounter and so on). Jesper has a special interest in representation of gender and sexuality in teaching materials, using queer pedagogy as a lens to ask questions about and trouble assumptions, expectations and what is considered normal.
