After 13 years as Headteacher in Camden at the Children’s Hospital School at Great Ormond Street and UCH and previously as a mainstream Headteacher in Barnet, Jayne has recently moved into freelance consultancy and is working as a SEND advisor with Camden Learning. Jayne wants to empower schools leaders at all levels to feel confident in adapting and supporting their staff to meet diverse changing needs within school communities. Jayne has led peer reviews nationally, been pivotal in the design and building of innovative new SEND provision and is particularly passionate in championing new technology for SEND learners such as the use of telepresence  robots. Jayne also holds voluntary roles as a Director of the National Association of Hospital Education, Vice Chair of Governors at Summerside Primary Academy and recently joined Swiss Cottage Special school as a Governor.
