James Northcote is an actor, producer and creative technologist exploring the integration of generative AI, virtual worlds and performance. Best known for his film and television work (The Last Kingdom, Fool Me Once, Catherine the Great, Wuthering Heights).His recent project with the National Youth Theatre’s Digital Accelerator programme, supported by Microsoft, explored live improvisation with generative AI technologies. He is an NYT alumnus and Associate Artist. As founder of Nowalls Live he develops stage and stream content for events including Insomnia Gaming Festival. James has spent 10 years focused on the crossover between filmmaking, technology & theatre and is passionate about supporting the next generation of talent to find new tools for creativity and performance.
