James is a national award-winning Director of Esports and esports teacher at Queen Mary's college, Basingstoke. James is proud to have helped create the first-ever BTEC in esports in 2020 and manager of the national esports champions for the UK, the QM Samurai. James speaks globally on esports and education and the links with business and industry and has spoken at World Education Week, Discover Esports, BETT, ESI, The Festival of Education and many more; and contributed to the book 'Esports in Education' that was published in 2020. Current NASEF mentor, head of education for Hundo and Yoyotech consultant. May 2021 saw the UK's first-ever sixth form esports floor open based on grants and funding of 250K which James helped raise and personally oversee the build of; the first of its kind in the UK as well as helping create esports arenas in education for Newcastle United FC and Media City.
